Last weekend my bestie and I road tripped to Las Vegas for our first ever Bloggy Boot Camp (stay tuned for my post about that experience). On Friday night I got a chance to party it up in Sin City with the fabulous trendsetters of the The Trend Tribe (which includes two of my long time friends Chamorro Chica and Rockstar Mom LV). They evening included a food and cocktail tasting tour at some of the best restaurants at Aria Resort & Casino.

The evening was kicked off at Sirio Ristorante. This restaurant features traditional Italian food and cocktails in a very romantic and modern setting. The wine cellar features over 700 bottles of wine, but the chef’s specialty is his selection of house-made Limoncello. The restaurant’s specialty cocktail is the Capriccio which is made up of Campari, Cocchi Americano, and the house Limoncello. Sweet and strong, this cocktail pairs perfectly with the deliciously rich pasta. We were treated to a pasta duo: ravioli filled will ricotta cheese, spinach, swiss chard and sage butter sauce; and the Pici Toscana which is hand-rolled thick spaghetti with a three meat ragu (my favorite of the two dishes). The sommelier walked us through the impressively stocked drink cart and the chef let us check out the equally impressive live antipasto kitchen located at the back of the restaurant.

We wandered next door to Jean Georges Steakshouse where we were greeted with refreshing house-made non-alcoholic sodas which cleansed my palette for our starters of Burrata Mozzarella and the Crispy Sushi Sampler. After that it was time to get serious with an Orange Cosmopolitan with Elderflower martini, flaming steak fajitas, and sides of creamed spinach, asparagus, truffle mashed potatoes and mac n’ cheese. We walked off our meal checking out the chef’s dining room which featured a chandelier made of silver utensils and the bustling kitchen where the executive chef and his team were calling out orders and creating magnificent meals. I already want to go back to Jean Georges for the sushi and house-made ginger ale!

The last restaurant we went to was Sage. This place has a bar unlike any other. They have made mixology into an art form using absinthe, oak barrelled white and brown liquors, and fruits. The food was just as unique … oysters, roasted wild mushrooms, foie gras, pork loin, and scallops. Everything was delicious and decadent! It is the type of restaurant where you want to try everything on the menu. I would love to go back to Sage just to try the dessert menu!

Even though the eating and drinking was all done the night wasn’t over! We were treated to a private party at Kiki de Montparnasse, the luxury fashion and lifestyle brand that celebrates intimacy and inspires the romantic imagination. While indulging in chocolate covered strawberries we tried on all kinds of fantasy role play outfits (I tried on a French Maid outfit made of duchess satin and silk charmeuse), learned about top of the line toys, and sampled sensual oils and soaps. Kiki sent each of us home with a triple-milled soap and their signature aphrodisiac massage candle. Now I just need a man to try them out on!

Around 1am I poured myself into the bed in my Aria suite with aching feet, a satisfied tummy and luxuriously sweet dreams! I had so much fun with these trendsetting ladies and hope to see them all again soon.

A HUGE thank you to The Trend Tribe, Aria Resort & Casino, Sirio Ristorante, Jean Georges Steakshouse, Sage and Kiki de Montparnasse for such a fabulous evening! All statements are my opinion and my opinion only. I did not receive any other form of compensation.
